How to use the Divi Module for Booking X

Installation

Automatic

  1. Backup your site completely before proceeding.
  2. Downloaded your copy of the Divi Module add-on.
  3. Log in to your WordPress installation.
  4. Click on the Plugins menu item
    1. then “Add New” button on the top left next to the “Plugins” title
    2. Followed by the “Upload Plugin” button on the top left next to the “Add New” title.
  5. Select the Divi Module zip file and click the “Install Now” button.
  6. Once installed click the activate button.

Manual

  1. Backup your site completely before proceeding.
  2. Downloaded your copy of the Divi Module add-on.
  3. Extract the Divi Module zip file.
  4. Open your favourite FTP client (ours is Filezilla).
  5. Connect to your WordPress server.
  6. Copy the Divi Module folder to the wp-content/plugins folder in your WordPress directory. This installs the add-on to your WordPress site.
  7. Log in to your WordPress installation.
  8. Click on the “Installed Plugins” menu item.
  9. Click the Divi Module “Activate” link.

WordPress Themes

NB: You need to have Elegant Themes Divi Theme activated as your theme for the Divi Module for Booking X Add-on to work.

Adding the Booking Form Modules

To add the booking form to a page or post;

  1. Go to the new module section in the Divi Visual Builder.
  2. Select Booking X Form module

Creating a resource listing page

To create a resource list on a page or post;

  1. Go to the new module section in the Divi Visual Builder.
  2. Select the Booking X Resource module.
    NB: if you have changed the alias of the your resources to something else. E.G. Staff, like in this example, that will be displayed here.
  3. In the module settings set the “Resources” option to all.
  4. Select how many columns you would like to display.
  5. Set images to show.
  6. Set description to show.
  7. Select order type – ascending or descending.
  8. Finally set Order By

Creating a service listing page

To create a service list on a page or post;

  1. Go to the new module section in the Divi Visual Builder.
  2. Select the Booking X Service module.
  3. In the module settings set the “Resources” option to all.
  4. Select how many columns you would like to display.
  5. Set images to show.
  6. Set description to show.

Creating an extras listing page

To create a extras list on a page or post;

  1. Go to the new module section in the Divi Visual Builder.
  2. Select the Booking X Extras module.
  3. In the module settings set the “Extras” option to all.
  4. Select how many columns you would like to display.
  5. Set images to show.
  6. Set description to show.
