Installation
Automatic
- Backup your site completely before proceeding.
- Downloaded your copy of the Divi Module add-on.
- Log in to your WordPress installation.
- Click on the Plugins menu item
- then “Add New” button on the top left next to the “Plugins” title
- Followed by the “Upload Plugin” button on the top left next to the “Add New” title.
- Select the Divi Module zip file and click the “Install Now” button.
- Once installed click the activate button.
Manual
- Backup your site completely before proceeding.
- Downloaded your copy of the Divi Module add-on.
- Extract the Divi Module zip file.
- Open your favourite FTP client (ours is Filezilla).
- Connect to your WordPress server.
- Copy the Divi Module folder to the wp-content/plugins folder in your WordPress directory. This installs the add-on to your WordPress site.
- Log in to your WordPress installation.
- Click on the “Installed Plugins” menu item.
- Click the Divi Module “Activate” link.
WordPress Themes
NB: You need to have Elegant Themes Divi Theme activated as your theme for the Divi Module for Booking X Add-on to work.
Adding the Booking Form Modules
To add the booking form to a page or post;
- Go to the new module section in the Divi Visual Builder.
- Select Booking X Form module
Creating a resource listing page
To create a resource list on a page or post;
- Go to the new module section in the Divi Visual Builder.
- Select the Booking X Resource module.
NB: if you have changed the alias of the your resources to something else. E.G. Staff, like in this example, that will be displayed here. - In the module settings set the “Resources” option to all.
- Select how many columns you would like to display.
- Set images to show.
- Set description to show.
- Select order type – ascending or descending.
- Finally set Order By
Creating a service listing page
To create a service list on a page or post;
- Go to the new module section in the Divi Visual Builder.
- Select the Booking X Service module.
- In the module settings set the “Resources” option to all.
- Select how many columns you would like to display.
- Set images to show.
- Set description to show.
Creating an extras listing page
To create a extras list on a page or post;
- Go to the new module section in the Divi Visual Builder.
- Select the Booking X Extras module.
- In the module settings set the “Extras” option to all.
- Select how many columns you would like to display.
- Set images to show.
- Set description to show.
